Loving Kindness Meditation Workshop The thousand Buddha Temple will conduct loving kindness meditation workshop, guided by Ven. Dr. Dhammadipa (Fa Yao: 法曜) at 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. every each other Saturday in English (the other Saturday in Chinese). If you think you need a bit of smiling in your life, this marvelous technique taught by the Buddha two thousand five hundreds years ago will meet you needs. This technique emphasizes on Love and Compassion, one of the main tenets in the Buddhist teachings and it further can be developed into dhyana of concentration. Ven. Dr. Dhammadipa will not only guide meditation but also give good introductory to this technique mentioned in the Buddhist textsand commentaries. Usually the session will start with 20 minute-long Talks, followed by two sitting session. There will be a brief tea break between the sessions. The temple will provide refreshment during the tea break. The workshop is free of charge and open to public. Donation will be appreciated. For more information, please write to Ven.
